By the Water's Edge

I feel like I have been/am betraying my new Nikon D7000. As amazing as it is, I've been loving the look/feel of film for my last few shoots. I have been shooting both, so I thought I would share some of the digital (D7000) ones today.

These are still from my road trip to Kenora, and once again feature Kaeleigh as the model. Like I said before, all of these photos were taken with my D7000 and 18-200mm lens.

This little road trip took place near the end of May. Needless to say, the weather wasn't the nicest and lakes definitely weren't warm enough for a nice swim. Despite the chills and potential for pneumonia, we got wet. Kaeleigh is such a trooper, as you will see in the below photos.

What you will not see is that I, too, was in sitting in the water. Fully clothed. I didn't intend for that to happen, but hey --I had to get the shot!

Next week --something random from my 700 digital photos and 6 rolls of film that I have to sort through. It could be anything from more Kenora, to Montreal, to our latest roadtrip to southern Manitoba!
